Erik Ringmar is professor of political science and international relations at Ibn Haldun University, Istanbul, Turkey. He has a PhD from Yale University, and has previously taught at universities in the UK and China. He lives in Asia but has an amazing view of Europe from his front window. In his spare time me likes to cook curries and pick sloe.
